RedPhone — communication built specifically for divers. It can be part of the RWLT navigation system, and then, in addition to communication, the system also monitors the position of divers underwater
01How it works
RedPhone combines a two-way underwater voice communication device and a diver tracker in a single housing.
02Extremely simple to operate
RedPhone switches on automatically when diving and operates in Push-to-Talk (PTT) mode — reception is continuous, while transmission is active only while the RedButton is pressed. After each voice message, the station sends a navigation signal that is used to determine the diver's position underwater
03High-quality acoustic communication and precise object positioning
We use broadband hydroacoustic communication technology across all our systems, which reliably protects against interference even in shallow water. As part of the RWLT system, the station can perform the functions of a telephone as well as a navigator and a pinger
04Perhaps the most reliable station in the world
A solid cast housing leaves water nowhere to leak in. Lithium iron phosphate batteries withstand low temperatures, have no “memory effect”, and lose capacity extremely slowly, lasting more than 3,000 charge–discharge cycles.
