Zima2-B – direction-finding station of the Zima2 USBL system

Zima2-B
Zima2-B is the direction-finding station of the Zima2 USBL ultra-short baseline system. The device uses a fixed-length, code-divided signal to determine the direction, range and depth of Zima2-R responder beacons.
When an external GNSS receiver and compass are connected, Zima2-B determines the absolute coordinates of the responder beacons; sequential operation of up to 16 responder beacons is supported.
An ideal solution for determining the direction and distance to ROVs, AUVs and divers. Its extremely small size, low power consumption and ease of use make the Zima2 USBL system convenient for working with autonomous and remotely operated vehicles, as well as for determining the relative position of divers.
The design is patented (patent RU2659299C1).
