From development to integration

When a standard device needs extra functionality or complex integration under expert supervision, our engineers carry out all the necessary work turnkey, remotely or on site.

We step in when you are facing complex tasks

Most of our solutions do not require Laboratory specialists to install, integrate and commission systems and devices — they work right out of the box.

But when non-standard functions need to be added to standard solutions, when complex integration with your systems is required, or when work is planned under extremely difficult conditions with special requirements for the devices, expert help is needed.

When engineering support is not needed

1. If our commercially produced equipment is sufficient to solve your task, you will most likely not need help with installation and integration.

It is enough to review the documentation, then install and switch on the devices according to the instructions.

2. If you are ready to handle even complex integration with your own staff, the software and hardware interface of our devices is open and standardized, and external software, such as the operator console software, is available in source code as well.

You will receive all the open technical documentation, instructions and drawings when you order any device or system from the Laboratory.

When you need help from our developers and engineers

1. When complex integration of a device with a carrier or non-standard functionality is required. For example, we can add command reception and telemetry collection over the hydroacoustic channel to a robot's systems or navigator.

Our engineers, who took part in developing our devices and systems, are best placed to handle these tasks.

2. When you need to:

• change the color or shape of a device, or how it is mounted on the carrier;
• separate the antenna and the electronics to house the electronics in a separate enclosure;
• modify the device's internal protocol and electrical part for deeper integration with your systems;
• develop unique operator console software features built exclusively for your tasks. For example, overlay coordinates on the video feed from your robot's cameras in the operator interface;
• or solve another specific task that is not covered by the standard version of our systems and devices —
• in these cases, help from our Laboratory's specialists is required.
