UC&NL Overview

We are a team of scientists, engineers and executive officers We specialize in development and production of communication and navigation systems and devices for underwater robots and divers. We are residents of the Skolkovo Innovation Center, namely The Space Technology and Telecommunications Cluster, a member of the MariNet working group of the National Technology Initiative, and we are also supported by the Bortnik Foundation.

Our Customers’ Challenges

Our customers are fastidious and experienced professionals working in extremely demanding conditions. Every task we undertake is a challenge in its own unique way. We have to regularly take into account a lot of nuances and requirements that arise within the specific task of each one of our clients. For this reason, we are constantly upgrading our devices making them more functional, more reliable and even more user-friendly. • Positioning of submersibles used in underwater object inspections;
• Underwater mapping of cultural heritage sites;
• Search and neutralization of hazardous objects;
• Inspection services of underwater structures;
• Providing backup communication channel with ROVs;
• Operating AUVs, including team control and interaction tasks;
• Collecting data from various underwater sensors;
• Supporting diver teamwork through voice communication and navigation for individual divers as well as dive teams.

In-House Production

Each and every device featured on the website was designed and manufactured by our team. Many of those are absolutely unique, having no equals in the world with characteristics superior to all existing devises and complexes. For instance, we’ve successfully created the world’s smallest hydroacoustic modem. We have got a number of patented solutions under our belt that make our products simpler, easier, lighter more accurate and more reliable than those of any other manufacturer.

Our journey began in 2015. It was then we decided that hidroacoustics should become available to general users, both in Russia and beyond. From then on you can use the best technology at the most cost-effective prices.

Scientific and Production Capacities

Every single one of our devices for underwater communication and navigation is created in our own production facilities, where each manufactured product undergoes a thorough final inspection and output control. New solutions and products are tested in-house, where ideas are fine-tuned to perfection.

Our devices are not some theoretical concepts or prototypes, but are mass-produced. You can buy them and use them to solve practical problems, just the the way our customers do.

Before reaching the customer, each device goes through several stages of testing: incoming component inspection, outlet control at the product manufacturing sites, and final testing on water.

We often engage our customers in the process of perfecting our devices. We are well prepared for the ever-increasing level of your challenges, and we are confident that we can not only meet expectations, but exceed them.
